New AMIS for Rolebuilder

When I try to create new role via Rolebuilder only Centos 5.5 is shown and Centos 5.7 is disabled.  Where do I get the new Centos OS AMIs for the rolebuilder?

Currently CentOS 5.7 is available only in ap-southeast-1 We are in a process of updating all images to 5.7

Couple of more qns. If I were to create my own AMIs would that mean setup an instance on Aws, install whatever needed and then create a Scalr role from non-scalr?

Also to create a mysql role from scratch what would be the steps?
