What features of Scalr still work without scalrizer agent?

Hello,

Quick question: What features of Scalr still work without scalrizer agent?  For instance, would we be able to run scripts and perform additional configuration funtions via Chef provisioning?

Hi Krishna,

For agentless servers, management is limited to actions that can be performed via cloud APIs.  Scalr features and automation such as Orchestration, script execution, and Chef Provisioning will not function without the agent.

Hi Brine,

I do not face any issue during connecting with agent. After connectivity it unable to make the OS. So it unable to proceed.

attached is the screenshot. Please help what i am doing wrong.

FYI. I able to import Linux servers with out any issue.

Hi Susanta,

If you mouse over the red Operating System box, is there a tool tip popup that provides any additional information?  To confirm, there is no effect if you click on the Operating System drop down arrow and no effect if you click "Create Image"?

Yes Brine,

No effect where ever you click. The operating system suppose to populate automatically.
