Hello community,

Is there an easy way to show the wireframe of a mesh in the scalismo UI, and possibly to turn the smoothing off? Now I regularly export my meshes to meshlab and meshmixer just to turn off the smoothing and show the wireframe. I think this functionality would be really useful for diagnostics, and when you start with creating ssms.

Thanks in advance.

kind regards,

Hi Sybren

There is an easy way. Just focus the 3D window in ScalismoUI and  press w (for wireframe). To switch back to the surface view, press s.

Best regards,
Marcel

Hi Marcel,

Thank you for your reply. Are there more keyboard shortcuts for the UI?

Kind regards,
Sybren

Hi Sybren

We are using VTK and inherit all the shortcuts that vtk supports. These are documented here:

Marcel
