Hi everyone,

Are there any tools, resources or approaches one could use to convert texture coefficients/coordinates for a face in BFM 2009 to equivalent coefficients in BFM 2017?

Regards,

Arish

To the best of my knowledge there is no tool out there yet. But I would first try roughly the following steps:

1. Calculate a mapping: Register the reference 2009 to match the reference 2017
2. Transfair colors: Transfer the colors from the 2009 model to observations of the 2017 model using the mapping from step 1
3. Estimate coefficients: Calculate the posterior of the color model given the observations from the above step (with some noise).

I hope that helps

Regards,
Andreas
