With KENO V.a temporary run files are not always deleted as they should be.

I’m running KENO V.a in SCALE 6.1.  Sometimes when I run KENO the scratch files in the directory ..\AppData\temp do not get automatically deleted at the end of a run.  I believe this might be related to why sometimes when I run many input decks with a batch script one or two of the cases crash - because the scratch directory is full or there already exists a file with that temporary name.  I'm not sure.  In any case, I know there is the -r option to retain the scratch files, but is there an option to delete the temporary files, or another way to ensure that they're deleted after a run?

Thank you.

Steven,

I think the script that cleans up the temp directory will also delete the "tempdir.path" file giving the path to the temporary directory.  So I'd say the best bet is that if the job exits abnormally, and that file is still there, that you'd need to go remove the directory manually.  Fortunately, the file contains the path to the directory you want to delete.  You can copy and paste the path into a windows explorer window, step up a level, and delete the directory.  Obviously this isn't easy or automatic, but it's something.  The temp directory SHOULD always be removed as part of the normal wrap-up of a job unless, as you've pointed out, you ask for that not to happen.
