Hello,

I keep getting an error when running a rather simple MAVRIC problem. The output states:

***** error ***** sggp message number k6-137 follows:
There are missing cross sections. Check the output for other error messages.

 stop code        999

But there are no other error messages in the output. Additionally, the materials of my problem are not outstanding (just UO2, Zr, Fe, Cr, Sn, N, O... I have run other problems with these materials before) so I do not understand why cross sections may be missing.

How can I proceed? Do you have an idea of why is this happening?

Thanks in advance!

I would double-check the name of the multigroup library in the input, there could be two of them, one on the second line after the sequence name and the other in the parameters block. The error is related to geometry and material blocks which are common between the MONACO and KENO-VI, hence it is giving you a KENO error, see below (SCALE 6.2.3 manual, page 8-399).

KMSG137

***** ERROR ***** K?-137 FOLLOWS:

THERE ARE MISSING CROSS SECTIONS. CHECK THE OUTPUT FOR OTHER ERROR MESSAGES.

This message from subroutine FILLSG says that not all the cross sections requested have been found. There should be other previous messages giving more detail on what cross sections are missing.

Is it possible to have your input (composition and geometry blocks are enough for debugging) if you can't find any problem?

Cheers,

Thankyou Cihangir! One of the materials in the composition block was not properly defined (a line was commented and it shouldn't). You nailed it! Now it works fine.

Cheers! :)
