The default temperature in GeeWiz is set at 300K. Will the code use cross sections at 293K?

A file named "tsurfer.corr.j3d" is generated after each KENO6 run. Is this something new?

Thanks

Yes. If you search thru the output file there's a line describing that the code couldn't find 300K crosssections and is using 293K.

Dear David,

If you are performing continuous-energy calculations in KENO, SCALE selects the nearest-available temperature, which would be 293K. If you are performing multi-group calculations, SCALE will interpolate to the temperature you select.

The tsurfer.corr.j3d file should only be generated if you have run a TSURFER calculation. This file contains data to plot the user-input correlations between experimental uncertainties. However, if you are using the -T option when running SCALE, you could be returning data from a previous calculation.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.
