Hi,
I am using Origen-ARP to model irradiation/decay history of BWR rod sample. For example: I have data from 6 irradiation cycles with different void %. How can I model different void histories in Origen-ARP for one sample?
Thanks! Kind regards,
Kamilla

ORIGEN-ARP allows you to input a single value for the void (actually moderator density). These values can not be adjusted cycle-by-cycle because the influence of void on the BWR fuel cross sections is precalculated -- cycle-by-cycle variations are very problem dependent. You may be able to get very good results using an average void for all cycles.
To perform problem-dependent analyses you can use the TRITON depletion sequence in SCALE which allows you to explicitly simulate all time-dependent variations during irradiation. This sequence is also used to generate the libraries used by ORIGEN-ARP, so after the TRITON calculation you can import your specific library and use it in ORIGEN-ARP.
