The SCALE 6.1 manual says that the Pitzer method used in SCALE 6.1 and I assume in 6.2 (i'm using 6.2.1) is only applicable between HNO3 Molarities of 0.5-6M and temperatures between 25-60C for plutonium nitrate. I noticed in some cases that SCALE would calculate a density for some molarities and pu g/L combos outside of that range. Would it be correct though to discount those solution densities and only stay within the range of applicability outlined in the SCALE manual?
