Hello,
I am trying to calculate B4C absorber worth and found out that TSAR module in SCALE is capable of doing that. However, I am not quite sure how it is done using TSAR. Does TSAR help in getting absorber worth for each insertion step? Can the worth be calculated using KENO-VI (t6-depl)?
Thank you!

Hello,
TSAR is a tool for calculating the sensitivity of a reactivity changes (such as a control rod worth) to the underlying nuclear data. It sounds like what you are trying to do is simply calculate the worth itself. In your case all you need to do is run two KENO cases with the control rod at different positions and take the difference between the two. I hope this helps if not please provide some additional information about your question and I will try to help further.
