Hello Everyone,

I am performing a board group cross-section collapse for a fuel lattice using NEWT.  The overall goal is to analyze the produced collapsed cross-sections of each material instead of each individual component of the mixtures. The scale manual says that the cross sections are flux weighted using the average flux in the mixture which each nuclide resides and saved in an AMPX working-format library. In the input file I set wtdlib=30 to save the library at that unit. How can I open the AMPX file with the collapsed board group cross-sections?

Best Regards,

Not sure if this is what you maen, but try with Fulcrum (SCALE6.2) File / Open multigroup library... It opens v7-56 AMPX library, so it should open yours.

Alternatively, you can inspect the txtfile16 (or binary counterpart xfile16) file to obtain the collapsed AND homogenized cross sections.

Good luck.
