KENO3D not saving modified color scheme

When I change the color of materials in KENO3D, and then quit the program, it asks me if I want to save the new color scheme.  I say yes and it saves a color map file to the working directory.  Then when I restart KENO3D, the color scheme is as it was before the changes.  How can I keep the changes?  Am I suppose to save the color map to a particular directory?  Thank you.
