Dear Scale Users,

I would like to modify some part of the algorithm that builds the transmutation matrix in Origen and thus I will have to recompile part of Scale binaries. The problem is that I am not familiar with many programming knowledge that are involved in this process. I tried to follow the instruction on the scale6.1_Readme file (Build instructions) but it did not work because I am not using ifort but gfortran. So my first question is:

if it is possible to use gfortran and not ifort in the recompiling process? If yes, what are the steps I need to take to make it work?

Also, the same read me file says that some libraries are necessary in order to recompile scale binaries (Trilinos, Lapack).

But since I only want to modify Origen, are these libraries actually necessary in my case?

The platform I am using is Ubuntu 15.10. Thanks a lot for your help.
