postgis functionality

Hi

I have a lot of geographic/geometric data. I need to run postgis queries - typically using functionality to turn the geometry results into some form of json string but also wkt (well-known text). Am I going to be able to get at this sort of thing from within scalaquery environment or is it going to be impractical?
