Hi all,

perhaps you've already seen it, my book on building reactive web-applications with Play is now available through the Manning Early Access Program (http://www.manning.com/bernhardt).

It would be great if you could help me promote the book by passing the message along to members of your user group! Given the feedback I have gotten so far, the topic of the book may not be entirely misplaced. It aims to give an introduction as well as the necessary tools to building reactive web-applications with Play in practice. Especially people used to working with a threaded web-server (tomcat, jetty, etc.) may find the book useful as it shows how different the evented approach is, and what to look out for (do not block, configure your threadpool accordingly, etc.).

Hi Manuel,

I am ug organizer of the Scala.brabant meetup group in The Netherlands. I just joined this organizers group last week by invitation of Renato since I was not aware this group existed.

I just plugged your book to the members of the group. Unfortunately, the discount code has already expired. Would it be possible to get another discount code? I noticed other groups have also missed the discount period.
