Folks,

As you might know we are organising http://Scala.IO this fall in Paris (october 23th/24th).
Like last year we we have a special partnership offer for all Scala User Group.

Here is the deal:
- we offer 1 free pass for the conference for your group member (up to you to find a the way to offer this pass)
- we put your UG logo in our partnership page and we mention you in our newsletter
- we give you a 30% coupon (only for the user group organisers)

On your side
- you help us to promote a little bit the conference (do some teasing during your meetup for example)
- you put ScalaIO logo on your website with link to our conference site

And remember ScalaIO is a community based, non-profit event. If we get more people we'll be able to unlock some "achievement" (more food, cool evening party or goodies...)

Let me know if you are interested ;)

Hi Alexis,

I organize the Play User Group in Berlin: http://www.meetup.com/Play-Berlin-Brandenburg/
I will make some teasing for you.

Do you want me to put the ScalaIO logo in the sponsors list?

Cheers,
Yann

Hi Alexis,

Nice idea, glad to help.
Will make the ticket into a meetup competition and have it emailed to everyone (at least twice) and add scala.io as a meetup sponser

And I should also book my hotel :-)

Yes, I have already a place to stay.

I took a Studio at “Staycity Serviced Apartments” together with Manu (Vienna UG). Three minutes walking from the venue.

Much cheaper than regular hotel.

Hi Alexis,

(sorry if that is a double post, but my direct reply seems to get stuck in moderation queue)

thanks for that great offer. I organize the Scala User Group in Leipzig
(http://www.meetup.com/Scala-Leipzig-Meetup/) and we have a Hackathon in the
end of this month. I think, having the ScalaIO ticket as price for the best
project/team would be great.

Besides promoting ScalaIO during the meetup and in the forum, do you expect us
to add the link/logo in another place?

Best regards,
Tobias

Hi Tobias,

Not clear why you message was on the moderation queue. We don’t have moderation! :-)

I unblocked your message to make sure that future messages will not reach the queue.

Sorry for that.

Hi Alexis,
We added you as a sponsor on the Scala Enthusiasts Geneva meetup page and talked about the conference at our Hackathon yesterday.

Unfortunately the conference is at the same days as SoftShake in Geneva, so the number of participants from our group might be limited. Would be great if you could coordinate on dates for next year.

Would love to be added as a partner.

Cheers,
Trond

Hello Alexis,

I am organizer of Czech Scala Enthusiasts. Thank you very much for the generous offer. I have already put your logo in the sponsors section and will announce the conference very soon via our group's message board. We will have a meetup on October 7th. We will prepare a short Scala quiz for participants to compete for the ticket.

Thank you, cheers,
Karel

Hi from Vienna,

we put up the logo on http://www.scala-vienna.org and plan to raffle the ticket using Twitter (which should make some noise), and to announce the winner at our next meetup (next tuesday).

Cheers!
