Curry-On

Hi guys, 

Heather Miller sent a message yesterday to the BeScala concerning the promotion of the Curry-On conference (http://curry-on.org). Other European users groups may have received it as well, but to make sure the word is spread I'm forwarding it here.

She would like to increase the awareness of Curry-On conference among the European Scala Commnuity. So, please, pass the message to your members.

Here's a short description of the conference. Very appetizing for programming language enthusiasts.

Very international new non-profit conference on programming languages (emerging & well-known), and emerging challenges in industry (big data, privacy). Polyglot lineup of speakers: creators of popular languages like C++ and JavaScript, co-designer of Haskell, designers of new languages like Julia, Elm, and Rust, author of the HotSpot optimizing compiler, as well as leaders from Scala and Clojure. July 6-7th in Prague, Euro 600 (good for all of Curry On, ECOOP, and other co-located events for the entire week – 5 days, 18 conferences/workshops total).

Aah yes,

We got that one too. We are trying to convince her to show up at our meetup on the 11th, so she can promote the conference in person ;)
