Abstract

ScalaDays is the Scala conference of the year - the centre of gravity for the Scala ecosystem.  This year's ScalaDays in San Francisco promises to be illuminating with talks from Martin Odersky, Danese Cooper, Diane Marsh, Jonas Boner, Josh Sureth, Bill Venners, Michael Nash, Jon Pretty, Miles Sabin, Dean Wampler, Roland Khun, Li Haoyi and many many other luminaries.  In addition to the scheduled talks, the meta-conference - ideas and developments discussed between the attendees - will be sure to spark projects and initiatives that will deeply affect the landscape for the next year.  Attendees will gain valuable insights, new techniques and ideas and position themselves at the forefront of Scala. 

But what if you didn't manage to attend this year?  Never fear!  BoldRadius has nine people attending the conference and will be bringing the highlights to you!  

As part of the BoldRadius NHL Original 6 Tour, we're compiling the Highlights Reel of ScalaDays talks, discussions, ideas and initiatives and taking it to Montreal, Toronto, New York, Chicago and Boston (Detroit didn't make the cut this time around).  Join Dmitri Carpov and Jason Faber as they recap the event, identify the most talked-about talks, and make you feel as if you were there.
