Awesome! Ive signed up.

Though from a look at the syllabus, some of the material isn't going
to be too challenging.

But this is a great way to drive adoption of Scala and FP generally.

One of the earlier courses I did with Udacity, Programming a Robotic
Car, [http://www.udacity.com/overview/Course/cs373/CourseRev/apr2012]
taught a lot of AI programming material (in Python), but it used this
clunky C-like imperative style that made me wince. So it'll be good to
see a mass-online programming course taught in the functional style.

Interesting that SICP is on the suggested reading list. Coincidently
it is the next book on my reading list. Boy I've read a lot of books
this year.
