Rod Johnson's Scala in 2018 presentation

Hello all,

As a former (reformed?) Java Developer I'm well aware of how influential Rod Johnson is in that community,
now it seems he's trying his hand at a spot of Scala development. And he's got some interesting observations
to make.

I've just finished watching his Scala in 2018 Parleys presentation and wondered if anyone on the list had also
 watched it and how they felt it relates to their own early experience of Scala development?
