Scala macros

This morning, I have been briefly discussing Scala Macros with Aaron:

Indeed it looks very interesting (see also: http://scalamacros.org/usecases/index.html),
trivial to make use of macros, a bit harder to create a macro.

When I have time (when? not a good time lately), I will try and play
with it a bit, so I can get a good idea of what it is and how it

The potential uses look very cool. I wonder how much this sort of
thing could complicate tooling support?

Also, I can't make head or tails of the details -- maybe you could
write a nice tutorial once you've played with it? ;-)
