Following on from the interest shown at the last Agile Yorkshire, I'm
hoping we can get things moving with this group.

I'm thinking along the lines of either a coding Dojo or perhaps just a
run through of some example code. Another idea might be that people
could bring a project they are working on to share (open spaces
style)?

I quite enjoyed Kevin Wright's presentation at a previous Scala
LiftOff:

There's also the N-Queens example:

or perhaps the "implicit environment" spring DI (or IoC) replacement
example:

Sounds good. As a Scala n00b I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up
with the more complex examples, but I'm happy to give it a try.

Do you have a time & place in mind? I can't do Mondays, but anything
else is good for me.

That sounds pretty neat.

I'm still making my way through the Odersky book, and trying to be
good and work through all the examples, but it's almost a bit too hand-
holdy at the beginning. I've made the mistake on previous attempts to
skip ahead and find myself looking at later examples bemused as to how
they work. Perhaps a code dojo would get me over the hump? Or possibly
just more patience. Or practice. Lots of practice.

Off to look at your links now. :)
