I can't do Thursdays, but I wouldn't let that change your plans as I haven't actually written any Scala since my initial investigations!  (And our client seems to be moving away from it now).  Although if it does happen to move to a different day, I may still turn up.

    Hi folks,

    A bunch of us had lunch today to have a chat about Scala -- it was nice to
    meet up with you guys. And apologies for not mentioning it on this group,
    doh! We thought:

    * It's convenient to meet up at lunch-time.
    * We could start off meeting up every couple of weeks, and grab some
    grub...maybe bring some laptops for bragging (e.g. Leon demoed his awesome
    Android game written in Scala).
    * Thursday would be a good day.
    * We could pick a handy location half-way between BJSS & William Hill
    offices. (Any suggestions?)

    So...how does Thursday 9th Februrary sound for next time?

Hi Grant,

Shame, it'd be cool to have you along! We may well juggle the choice of day around in the future according to who can make what...

Hi Dan,

That's a very sensible suggestion! Your survey has only evening times on it, but we'd been thinking initially of meeting up at lunchtimes, primarily because it's very convenient for a bunch of us who work in Leeds city centre. (Obviously, it's less convenient for people elsewhere, so perhaps we'd want to also do evening things if enough people were interested.)

Matt, Grant, the rest of the group,

How about good old survey:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7XTSV29

The result of the survey should not be seen as binding, but indicative
none the less.

Matt,

I could change the options for time to 'Lunchtime' and 'Evening' if
that's what you guys prefer.

The survey now collects time inputs only as *lunchtime* and *evening*.

You can start voting now.

Hi Dan,

Could I perhaps trouble you to do a slightly more involved one? ;-)

* Are you interested in meeting up for lunch and/or an evening?
* Days available for lunchtime?
* Days available for evening?
* Interested in a coding dojo, presentations, chit-chat, all of the above?
