Is it true, IDE nightly uses scala compiler form 2.10 (or master?) scala branch? The thing is, when I try to compile a project via sbt (without IDE) with M7 I get compiler exception, but all compiles fine inside the IDE.

M7 cannot compile trunk, that's okay. If the IDE can, then it uses a fresh version of compiler.

Yes, the Scala IDE nightly for Scala 2.10 uses the latest compiler/library SNAPSHOT released out of 2.10.0-wip branch (https://github.com/scala/scala/tree/2.10.0-wip).

Here is a short summary of the available nightlies for the future Scala releases (branch in Scala project -> Scala IDE nightly update site):

Currently, http://download.scala-ide.org/nightly-update-master-trunk redirects to http://download.scala-ide.org/nightly-update-master-2.10.0 because that is convenient for people that have been installing Scala 2.10 IDE nightly (I'll remove the redirect as soon as 2.10.0 is finalized).

Hope this helps.

Eugene, saying "project" I mean own project which results in M7 compiler exception :)
