Newbie .. Question Regarding Scala IDE 4.7

I recently upgraded to Scala 4.7 IDE.

It seems that when I make changes to my source now and then "run as scala application" using maven it no longer picks up the

most recent changes until I do a full maven install.

Also, the little red error symbol that shows up for compilation errors seems to not work half the time.
