High Performance Actors (Scala)

I am guilty of developing yet another kind of actor, though I believe
it is justified since, under some conditions, they run more than 100
times faster than a Scala Reactor.

I have just now completed the tutorial, which covers simple actors,
composites, dependency injection and program lifecycle and I'd very
much appreciate getting some eyeballs on all this.
