Hello,

Firstly, Happy new year to everyone ...

Hope you had nice holidays by coding a replicated KV Store in Akka ;-)
Yes, as the "Principles of Reactive Programming" course from Coursera is finished, I propose to discuss and compare our solutions.

The session will be held on Thursday 16th of January at 18:30 at Crosssing-Tech, Innovation square - building J (4th floor), Lausanne (next the Scientific Parc of the EPFL).

Here is the map:

Hello,

KV store in Actors was great fun to complete :)
And the grader is fair... no struggles to get the points.

I'm based in Zurich, and I just opened a scala group for the northern area of Switzerland, see
https://groups.google.com/d/forum/scala-northern-switzerland.

Do you mind if I join your 31st meeting?
I like to know people (going serious about scala) from all over the country and exchange experiences.

Be forwarned, I'm a scala enthusiast (since 2011) but not a computer scientist ;)

Hey Luigi,

I've been attending (when available) the sessions proposed by the Scala Enthusiast group. Nicolas and the rest of collaborators are a great bunch, working hard to promote Scala and very friendly :)

Now that I've moved to Basel, it's longer travel to Lausanne, but hopefully we can evolve the northern Scala contingent and collaborate with our southern comrades :)

Cheers,

Luigi Antognini

Hello Galder
Hello everybody

I totally agree, the idea is to collaborate with Lausanne.
The only motivation for the "northern scala group" is the geographical distance.

If we see a chance to do something altogether we should join our efforts.

Thanks to Nicolas, Luc, Crossing-Tech, and all the supporters,
it was pleasurable to stay with you!

And please excuse my (still) crappy French,
I haven't used it for ages, I promise I'll work on that ;)

Cheers
Luigi
