Scala Lift-Off EAST Update

I'm still working on this lift-off conference thing.  It looks like it'll be around the late-summer/fall time frame of this year.  If you're interested in helping/attending, please let me know.  I've been in contact with David Pollak, and he informed me that we may be able to swing a visit from Martin Odersky.  Also Bill Veneers mentions some interest.  Obviously things are still a long way off, but progress is being made!

Odds and Ends

If anyone is interested in a get together before the unconference (as it's going to be later than I had anticipated), let us know!  I'd love to have a chat with other scala enthusiasts.

Finally let me know if/when you may be speaking at various groups in the area.  I'd love to come *and* I'll try to keep the BEAST calendar up-to-date/promote the event.
