By the way, the three speakers include Carl Hewitt, who basically came up with the actors idea. So it should be quite interesting to get his perspective. Then Frank Sommers will talk about Scala's actors library, and Robey Pointer about their use of real-world experience with using actors in Kestrel at Twitter. So it will go from abstract to concrete.
