We have a killer meetup Monday 6/11 at TicketFly in SOMA:


Scoobi is a beautiful way to do Hadoop -- type safe across map/reduce steps, where Java becomes weirdly php-like.  Ben Lever is the lead of Scoobi, coming all the way from down under to present. The AKKA talk is an expansion of the first summary given by the host's architect Andrew Headrick, distilling the best practices of running a distributed stateful system, with code examples this time!

Monday 6/11, networking starts at 6:30pm, talks at 7pm.
