Theology on Tap This Wednesday

Friends in Christ,

I and a group of young adults from St. Cyril's are attending this
Theology on Tap (ToT) this Wednesday! Call me at 917 843 5609 or email

up.

The first speaker in the series is Father Alonzo, a great priest from
Holy Family! See below for details. Please RSVP with me or the ToT

Thanks for your interest in Theology on Tap at St. Elizabeth Ann
Seaton. There
was an overwhelming response and I think this is going to be a great
program. The
first meeting has been scheduled.

Date: Wednesday, October 8, 2008
Time: 6:30pm until approx. 8pm
Location: Metropolitian Grill (Oracle & Magee, next to Trader Joe's)
Speaker: Father Alonzo Garcia, Pastor Holy Family Catholic Church
Topic: Who am I? (a theological reflection/discussion on who we are
in relation
to God and to each other)
Cost $10.00

Please bring friends, Catholic or not, as long as they are in their
20's &
30's.

Please RSVP if you are able to make it (you can email me back or
call). I need
to try and give the restaurant a head count so there will be enough
seats and snacks.
The cost includes happy hour type food, the room, service charge tax
on the food,
and other costs for the program. I would hate for someone not come,
because of
money problems. Contact me if it is a concern, something can be
worked out.

The first meeting is just that, the first one. I think we will need
to fine tune
this process and program as we go along. I do have a speaker lined up
for November
and have contacted the Bishop's office for him to speak to us early
next year.
I will seek feedback at the first meeting in regards to location, cost
and future
topic's.

If you indicated on the sign up sheet you were willing to help out,
please let me
know if you still want to help. It is easy stuff and would really
just be helping
out the night of the program.
