Thought this might be of interest to some of you, if you hadn’t yet seen it.

Hi wonderful teachers, environmental educators, and science instructors!

We've done a materials inventory here at the Coastal Watershed Council and would love to find a home for the following items, click here for pics of the items (Google Photos).

1) 10 pairs of little kid rainboots:  one pair in Size 2, five pairs in Size 1 (Y13), three pairs in Size Y12, and one pair in Size Y11
2) 15 plastic cups
3) Box of 4-packs of crayons
4) Bulk pack of pencil sharpeners
5) Aquatic insects and crustaceans field ID guides/books
6) City of Santa Cruz loteria bingo (coastline ecosystem)
7) Clothespins (blank)
8) Clothespins (with animals written on them for a game of "guess which animal is clipped to your back by asking Yes or No questions")
9) Nametag holders with blue lanyards
10) Jump rope
11) Green and black colored pencils, dry-erase markers, dice, and pencil case
12) Books
13) Estuaries poster
14) Peterson field guides
15) Stormwater poster
16) Biodiversity and habitat game comparing wild rivers with confined/managed rivers
17) NOAA salmon survival game (multiple sets in English and Spanish)

Please email my colleague Maria Rocha (mro...@coastal-watershed.org) if you'd like to inquire about picking up any/all of these materials for free!

Happy autumn, everyone!

CWC’s work takes place on the unceded territory of the Awaswas-speaking Uypi tribe. These lands are called Popeloutchom by the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, the living descendants of Mutsun and Awaswas-speaking peoples who have continually occupied the coastal watersheds of the greater Monterey Bay region for millennia.

I am often leading education programs at schools or along the San Lorenzo River on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Thank you for your patience with any delayed email response times.
