Life Lab Temporary Gardener

In-person, part-time work, 20 hours/week across 3 days/week
Specific hours determined with the organization.
Position Duration: ASAP through August 30, 2026
Location: Life Lab’s Garden Classroom on the UC Santa Cruz campus

Life Lab seeks an energetic, skilled and dedicated gardener who loves gardening and appreciates a garden used for educational purposes.
The temporary gardener will care for the Garden Classroom and keep it clean, tidy and thriving during preparation for summer camp, during camp, and after the program in preparation for fall field trips. The Garden Classroom is a model educational garden that serves students and educators of all ages in a variety of environmental based programming.
