Hello SC27 Fleet, Thank you once again for your keen participation in the SC27 National Championships at Monterey Point Peninsula Yacht Club.  17 boats made the line for a hotly contested competition.  Everyone had fabulous moments!  We all were taxed with having to shift gears for sail, course, and wind changes....

Congratulations to CA Zephyr 1st, , Fearless 2nd,  and Hanalei 3rd as the top three finishers followed by Lickety Split 4th, and Water Dragon 5th.

A Big Giant Thank You to the MPYC for hosting this raucous bunch.  They (many volunteers) took excellent care of us and the dinner banquet was OUTSTANDING!

If you have some photos, please post.

Here is a nice note from our Champs - Ron Boehm, "CA Zephyr"
Hi, Rick,
Thanks for another great Nationals.  As Ryan said, I don't think I’ve seen a more competitive Nationals, and that extends to other classes I’ve participated in.  Every mark rounding was contested and usually overlapped. I can think of at least ten times where we could have lost one position and the championship.

Wishing the entire SC27 Fleet well.  Our competitive spirit is strong, our boats are being sailed well and lots of more fun ahead in this fantastic class. "Fast Is Fun"

Warm Regards,
Rick Raduziner
