This is Totally random,
I have a sewing factory in Santa Rosa, formerly in San Francisco.
My specialty is apparel and heavier canvas gear and totes, not necessarily upholstery.
As a racer and owner of an Islander 36 I have done many boat projects throughout the years at friends requests. Mainly canvas sail covers , line bags at .
I had done a few projects for a sailing school in SF and they asked me to do new v berth upholstery for a Santa Cruz 27.
After purchasing materials and creating patterns they wanted to hold off when Covid lockdowns started.
In the meantime they sold off their 27’s and didn’t want to continue with the project.
If anyone would be interested in these cushions, I would wrap the project up at a considerably reasonable price.
The foam itself is in decent condition so this would be for the covers only.
Here’s a photo of the center fill piece I had finished.
The material, from Luna Fabrics, is from Germany.
We used it for 35 bunks for the Tall Ship Mathew Turner in Sausalito.
It is a synthetic Mohair style with excellent wear rating and was approved for fire resistance by the Coast Guard.
Regards
Brad Bergman
The color is a Brick red. The photo sometimes looks more like a light strawberry.
