Ubuntu 8.04 usage

Hi all

I installed the .deb package on a updated Ubuntu 8.04 beta (as of Apr
9) and it all works as advertised. I took care of downgrading the
firmware to the required version 4.22.13 and as documented used the
Windows utility to do so.

I also disabled the drive sleep function as a measure of precaution.

I don't trust vital data to this yet but I' ve been able to translate
several gigs to it at a time (and read back) without trouble, as
similar speeds to other network storage.
