Hello,

it just came to my mind, that the problem we all have, that we cannot
access the SC101 by both, windows and linux at the same time, might be
bypassed.

Most of us have broadband routers that more often than not are based
on some kind of linux system. Obvious examples are the well known DD-
WRT firmwares for linksys and other models.

Would it be possible to run the driver for SC101 on DD-WRT (or openWRT
or whatever else there exists for routers) and then export the SC101
as a SMB share?

This way the router - powered on anyhow 24/7 - can supplement the
missing SMB share functionality of the SC101.

What do you think?

I have no idea how much CPU power those kind of routers have, but
atleast SC101 driver is quite much slowing down things on my athlon
600 box. Im running SW-raid on SC101.
