Hi!

I've just bougth SC101. I'm using your way to make this piece work
under Mandriva 2007 and it works fine for now.
But I'm wondering if you're planing to do ( if it is possible )
something to get this work under Win and Linux on one partition at the
same time?

It's maybe a stupid question, but I'm lame on this territory ;)

Best regards

It's not an easy thing to do and I have no plans to try.

To have multiple machines write to the disk at the same time, you need
a clustered filesystem.

Clustered filesystems are quite complex to write, setup and use, and
are more far fragile than normal filesystems.

I'm quite sure the SC101's bad reputation for reliability is almost
all to do with the clustered filesystem Netgear ships.

For now, the simplest option would be to just set up samba on your
Linux box and share the drive to your Windows machine.
