Role: SAS Developer
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 8+ months
Position: 3

Description:
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering
computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form
of desired results.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. Highly
skilled.
Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of
applications programming activities.
This position may perform systems analysis functions. Work with Client
Feed and Ad Hoc development teams.
Skills
SAS
Skills Required:
SAS (Proc SQL, ODS, Macros) working with large files Developer skills
in using SAS for Windows (V9), SAS for Unix and Mainframe SAS.
Experience Required: Has extensive SAS experience (Especially SQL and
Macros).
Querying large RDBMS tables (DB2, etc;…),
Understanding of object orientation as it pertains to SAS application
design.

Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Six or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a
minimum of four years experience application program development, or
the equivalent in education and work experience.
