Senior Java Developer
Location : Wilmington, DE
Duration : 8 Months

Job Description :
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including
encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an
organization's application systems. Helps to identify current
operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Expected to
write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding,
and corrections. Writes manuals for users to describe installation and
operating procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area
and at least 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Must have a working knowledge of relational databases, Web, And
service oriented architecture concepts. Relies on experience and
judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of
complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Will report
to a project manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is
expected. 
- analyzing user requirements to develop functional and technical 
requirement specifications 
- coding and testing programs written from provided specifications 
- performing code reviews  
- determine design and code architecture based on new enhancement
requests. 
- assisting project team in understanding technology alternatives 
- providing production support and ongoing maintenance for internal
and  
external clients. 
- Must be local (within 30 miles of office), no exceptions, provide
city/state of residence
Additional Skills :
3-5 years' experience in the design and implementation of Java based
web  
applications  
- proficiency with IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) in J2EE  
environment, including EJBs, JSPs, Javascript, Servlets. 
- proficiency with Application Server installation and tuning using
IBM WebSphere Application  
Server 
- Demonstrated experience with XML, Web Services, SOA, Crystal
Reports,  
LDAP and MS SQL Server  
- Must be a team player and have experience with working on a team
including offshore resources is required 
- must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and be
detail  
oriented 
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple  
projects at one time with minimal supervision 
- must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
