SC/PA Conservation Teams - All-Hands Meeting Jan 7

Hello Zero Waste Team,

The 2025 Wrap Up and 2026 Planning Meeting for all Sierra Club PA Chapter Conservation Team Members (that means you) is happening on Wed, January 7 at 6:00 pm.

The preliminary agenda looks like this:

Presenters will include:

• Kara Kukovich - Chapter Conservation Vice Chair (elect)
• Jim Wylie - Dirty Energy Team Leader (and founding father for the Consv Teams)
• Sarah Corcoran - Chapter Deputy Director
• Nate Reagle - Chapter Clean Energy Advocate
• Kristina Woodard - Mid-Atlantic Deputy Regional Field Director

It would be great if you can join us to meet these leaders and members of other Conservation Teams, learn about what our Chapter Staff have planned for 2026 and how our neighboring Chapters are organizing around similar issues.

As we did last year, January will be a time for (re)organizing our teams and roles. If you have an interest in taking a turn at any of these roles, please contact your team leader or Kara or myself (Jim).

• Team Leader (meeting facilitator) (ZW teams needs a new leader for 2026)
• Note Taker
• Agenda Development
• Digital Stuff Curator (folders, web content, email list, etc)
• National Sierra Club Liaison

If you have any suggestions for a project that might be done as a collaboration with 2 or more teams, or with a non-SC org, please share.

If you have any suggestions for a webinar that your team can host in 2026, please suggest.

If you have not been able to attend your team meetings very often because of when they are scheduled, please contact your team leader (or Jim or Kara). We want to find a day/time that works for as many as we can.

Thanks for your contributions in 2025. We've still got a lot to do. Have a safe and warm holiday.
