Hey Y'all,

The DRBC (Delaware River Basin Commission) is holding their toxics advisory committee meeting in January if anyone is interested in attending. TAC covers things concerning emerging pollutants in the watershed (like PFAS, microplastics and metal contamination) and their meetings are open to the public. It also looks like they have a few positions open on the committee but I'm not sure what the commitment would look like there.

Also, Water Quality folx - if you were interested in the National Water call that happened yesterday but were unable to attend I reached out to the facilitator and they are going to share the meeting notes and slide deck with me so I'll forward that along when I get it.

This email is intended for folks signed up for information on the DRBC’s Toxics Advisory Committee (TAC).

 

January 21, 2026: TAC Meeting

 

The TAC will meet on Wednesday, January 21, starting at 1 p.m.  The meeting is open to the public and will be held virtually via Zoom Webinar.

 

The link to register for the webinar is available at https://www.nj.gov/drbc/meetings/advisory/. The agenda will be shared closer to the meeting date.

 

TAC Committee Openings

 

There are also openings on the TAC for five (5) non-reserved members representing the following four (4) sectors: Academic; Environmental/Watershed (2 openings); Municipal; and Public Health.

 

Positions are for five years, starting in June 2026; please apply by January 30, 2026. Additional information is available at https://www.nj.gov/drbc/about/advisory/committee-openings.html.
