The Sierra Club Dirty Energy Team is hosting a guest speaker from the Rocky Mountain institute.

Webinar - Stopping Global Gas Leaks
Thur, May 21 during lunch hour

Kevin Gauthier, Geoscience Advisor on the Climate Intelligence Program at the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) will lead the discussion.

Kevin will explore a surprising reality hidden in plain sight: the world is wasting enormous amounts of natural gas through methane leaks, venting, and flaring — volumes that exceed the gas flows disrupted through the Strait of Hormuz. Drawing from RMI’s latest research, Kevin will explain how methane waste impacts energy security, local economies, and the climate, while sharing the really awesome resources that RMI has developed online to help us identify these methane sources, including here in Pennsylvania.

Please share with your volunteer teams that you think might be interested.

Can't make this time - register to receive the recording.
