The newly reformed Cambridge SuperCollider User Group will be meeting
for the first time at CB2, 5/7, Norfolk St, Cambridge, CB1 2LD at
7.30pm on 23rd May.
I believe we will be upstairs and there will be a clear sign at our
table/area.
Sam Aaron will be giving an informal presentation;
"Live Coding with Emacs & Overtone - how to hack language to make
music"
Overtone is an expressive Clojure front-end to the SuperCollider synth
server. It facilitates a very high level exploration of musical ideas
ranging from synthesis and sampling to live-coding and instrument
construction.
