April Alumni Reunion - Polity/SCOOP/FSA/SAB/COCA/HOTLINE & FRIENDS

Hi Everyone -  There will be an ALL alumni reunion on Sat, 4/28, in the old gym.  It will honor the first 20 years which is why it is being billed as the Generation One Reunion but it is FOR ALL ALUMNI. There will be a designated area for Polity and Friends IF WE GUARANTEE AT LEAST 25 people. And if we do that, we'll all want to go because it will be fun.  (And all alumni who have bitched about not wanting to go to a Homecoming reunion because that will appear as though we support Div I - if you don't go to a spring reunion that is unattached to any athletics except Roth Regatta - no more future complaining!!!) Here is what you have to do if you think you will come. a) E-mail Russell Malbrough, Assoc. Director, Alumni Association at rmalb...@notes.cc.sunysb.edu with the following: "Dear Russell, I plan to register for the Generation One Reunion once 25 Polity & Friends alumni like myself have committed to going." b) cc me so that once there are 25 people, I will let everyone know so that you can all officially register. c) Once we have 25 people who agree to go, or as soon as you want, register at  http://alumniandfriends.stonybrook.edu/page.aspx?pid=402&cid=1&ceid=172&cerid=0&cdt=4%2f28%2f2012 They will not consider Polity an official group until 25 people have actually REGISTERED AND PAID, not just emailed to say they were coming. I know we said the next reunion would be 2014 but since the AA will do everything for us, it's crazy not to use this chance since they do not plan to do this annually unless someone donates. The two alumni who planned this one fronted some of the costs.  Please forward this email to others you know. Hope to see everyone there!
