Thanks!  I love your enthusiasm and agree we should do it at SB too.  Fortunately, the alumni are usually always willing to come to campus for things like this.

Can I have the name of your guest to make a name tag?

Jane:

A session like this, which could benefit both alumni and campus, should be held in Lecture Hall 100, and open to the entire campus community!

I think we could take up a collection to generate enough to pay these high-priced lawyers for their LIRR tickets.

I agree and believe this is a major topic of interest among current
students, who shouldn't be denied access to Alumni Association events
just because they have not completed diploma requirements. Fortunately,
as you say, alumni are willing to come to campus. Why not now?

Incidentally, I am urgently looking for a contact (e-mail or phone) for
former University Pres. John S. Toll - Two months ago, I discovered that
Alec Pond, the man who gave me some information 20 years ago, had died,
leaving Dr. Toll perhaps the only man alive with the information I need
to verify.

HI David.

Do you have a question that I might be able to help with?

HI, Jane.  I am a poli sci graduate and I didn't get notice of this event.  That's puzzling.

Maybe:

On the day we were both fired, Alec told me the Melvilles donated
the land mainly for $1 and othe considerations" where "other
considerations" meant "we won't prosecute you for Frank, Ward, and
POSSIBLY Melville Schoe Co not paying its taxes for a long long time".

I need to get that verified or find JST to do it.

Len:
In my last reply to you, I confused threads:
As I said, this is an important event of interest to Current and Future
alumni, and should have been held in Lect. Hall 100. We could have paid
transportation fees, or an honorarium for people making I would guess
1-2 powers of 10 more than my SSI/disability, and everyone (except
people who would have to either train or drive out) would benefit.

It would be an example of some of our alum giving back what they can
afford to the campus community.
