Hi All -

At the Distinguished Alumni Awards dinner the other night - 3 of the winners talked about the great concerts when they were here (late 70's - early 80's) and one of them, Diane Brink (see info below), still has her old SAB Concerts t-shirts - she worked Security. In the future the Alumni Association will need to promote what winners did when they were students, not just alumni - this could have been a mini SAB reunion too. Who were Concerts chairs in 1978, 1979 and 1980 - the three most likely years she did it? The AA will have to hook her up to Mike Fitzpatrick's planned SAB reunion.

David, to answer your question about John Toll, you won't be able to get any answers from him. He has severely deteriorated with Alzheimer's and remembers little. You might try Lenny Mell, who worked for Pond and remained friends with him. lmelyo @ yahoo. com

Take care,
JoAnne

In the years you mention, I think Dave Fink was one of the chairs.  While I’m not positive, I think Donna Kelly may have been a chair, or possibly a 2nd in command, circa 1980

Joanne,

I gave David the Toll's contact info. She looked forward to speaking with him and hoped she could help.

Re Lenny, she said "I can still remember Lenny's 20 year old big brown eyes." Sweet.

I know her.  Her name was Diane DeFrancesca. She was part of "my" crew from my SAB involvement.  Tom Neillsen was in charge then.  Prior was Brian.... I will think of his name.  And then there was Dave Fink.  She use to sleep with my buddy Mark Follman.

When I worked for a joint venture of IBM and Merrill Lynch I came across her.  I guess Brink is her last name.
