Second Meeting

Our second meeting will be held this Friday 9/19 in the Student Union.
We will meet upstairs in the Court View Lounge at 3PM. Please try to
be on time because we might have to migrate to a bigger lounge if
there are too many of us. If it's a nice day, then we might just do it
outside again.

Today was a huge day:
Moiz and I were on the radio, which was interesting. The show's host
is editing the show right now and we will have the abridged version on
the website as soon as it's ready. Until then, you can listen to the

Then we walked around the Involvement Fair to recruit a few more
members, who are now in the Google Group. Anyone who isn't already on

After that, we met with Eric who was nominated as our PR guy. He has
some great ideas for the direction of the group, and I really think he
has captured our goals in the mission statement.

Finally, I just finished up the member database and the sustainability
page, which now includes all of our posters for you to print and

Friday at 3PM will be almost as big:

We will discuss;

1. Direction/Mission Statement, follow-up discussion of the first
meeting.

2. First "October" Event, Need for funding

3. "What is science? What is religion?"

I look forward to seeing you all again, and hopefully a few new faces.
