sbt new & templates in 1.0?

Comparing the 0.13 doc vs. 1.0 doc, I noticed that there's no mention in the 1.0 doc of the sbt new & templates (http://www.scala-sbt.org/0.13/docs/sbt-new-and-Templates.html)

Then, I remembered reading about "sbt archetype" here: http://eed3si9n.com/sbt-1-roadmap

Can I reasonably expect that sbt 1.0 will support sbt new & templates per the 0.13 doc?

Yes. sbt new will be part of sbt 1.
