In our continued endeavor to improve relevant technical skills in the Real Estate sector, the RICS is organizing the Real Estate Workshop Series VIII. This will be an interactive and case-study oriented workshop focusing on deal sourcing, negotiation and due diligence. All participants attending the workshop will be awarded a certificate from the RICS. Evolving avenues of funding for Real Estate Projects
One-day intensive training workshop covering evolution of PE funding since 2005, deal sourcing and closure, generating value from asset management, and investor expectations

Availability of adequate liquidity and funding is the key to kick start growth of real estate sector in India after the somewhat patchy growth since 2008-2009. While there has been an inflow of capital in the Real Estate sector, due diligence and identifying the right investment would become even more important after the somewhat troubled experience of investors in recent years. This workshop has been designed to give the industry professionals an insight into the evolution of private equity funding over the years and key learnings; importance of due diligence in the deal acquisition process; strategic asset management; private equity structures in prevalence and investor perspectives.
